At an early age, Kelly had big plans for herself. She was going to grow up and have long black hair like Chers', (despite her little blonde pigtails), and wear red lipstick and high heels.
Hollywood was the place for her, and certainly, she would marry Paul Stanley from Kiss. She tried to transform her Barbie into Farrah Fawcett and set her doll's hair in curlers. If only she could cast spells like Samantha on Bewitched!
Unfortunately, none of these things panned out, but she never lost heart.
After "skipping" 2nd grade, and thus graduating early, she went on to earn her degree in Early Childhood Ed. After teaching for a couple of years, Kelly decided to professionally jump into the world of hair and beauty and has remained there happily ever since.
She can wear heels, make people MORE beautiful, and her child development skills have proven to be invaluable for the occasional unruly adult customer!
And so now,..... The Catwalk Hair Studio has proudly arrived at the Shoppes at Progress Ridge! Located in suite 104, you will find a beautifully constructed boutique size salon with a big city style! Originally inspired by the world of fashion and celebrities, homage is paid to some of the most famous hair icons in photos lining the walls.
